Architecture Internships
Some of Dublin’s architectural heritage like Christ Church Cathedral dates back to 1700, and the iconic Georgian terraces make up many of Dublin’s streets. However, Dublin is also at the forefront of contemporary architecture and was shortlisted for the World Design Capital 2014. The Irish Architecture Foundation runs Architecture Tours of the city to showcase Dublin’s contemporary and historical architecture.
Whether heritage conservation, sustainability, or modern design are of interest, Dublin has architectural firms that specialise in all of these areas for an architecture internship to suit your interests.
Check out this Q+A, featuring Peri Bowman, an architecture intern, who was a Stint Ireland participant during the summer of 2015.
